On a Roll
Caleb won another leg towards his AKC Novice Agility Title, on
Sunday, with a 2nd place finish on the Standard Course. I watched many dogs before us miss the entrance into the
weaves as they seemed to be drawn towards the chute on the right. Luckily, with Caleb's speed (lack of,
that is) on my side, I was able to jog along side him in order to closely direct his path. He almost exited
the weaves a pole early as he shifted from Slug into Snail Gear but of course I was, again, able to cut him off
at the pass.
If you watch the video, you can hear Sean chuckling (as usual) while
Caleb strolls across the dog walk. I thought that I saw Caleb glancing over to the left to see if, Ria, the hot
babe that he was flirting with earlier was still there. All joking aside, it was actually one of his better runs......in
competition. Sean really thinks that Caleb moves slowly and makes mistakes on purpose so he won't have to
go to the shows and can stay home with his mom, dad, sister and granny.
We didn't enter Max this weekend but he did make the top 10
cut in the Florida Home Show's Spokes-Pet Auditions on Saturday. It's suppose to be on the boob tube sometime with photos displayed on the MoreTV32 website.
